Create a new user with the same access as an existing one

Who creates users

User creation is currently handled by the Jules support team. Customers cannot self-serve account creation today. To request a new account, send a message to support with the details below.

What to include in the request

To get a new account provisioned in one round-trip:

Full name of the new user

Email address of the new user (this becomes the login)

Reference user — the name of an existing colleague whose permissions should be copied

Role/title of the new user (Trader, Logistics, Finance, etc.) — used as a sanity check against the reference user's profile

Example:

"Please create a new user for Hernando Garcia (hgarcia@acme.com). They will have the same access as Andrew Kocsis. Role: Trader."

What support does

Support provisions the account, mirrors the reference user's company, site, and role assignments, and emails login instructions directly to the new user. The requester is CC'd on the credential email by default.

Turnaround

Most requests are fulfilled within one business day. If the request is urgent, mention it in the message.

Technical context

Behind the scenes, permissions in Jules are governed by role-to-user, user-to-company, and user-to-site assignments. Mirroring a reference user means copying those three bindings to the new account. Any subsequent change to the reference user's permissions does not propagate — the two accounts are independent from creation onward.
