# I can add a new container / BL tracking

This guide explains the process of adding a new container or BL tracking in Jules.

**Step 1:** Navigate to the shipment tracking page, found under the Shipments module.

**Step 2:** Click on **Add new tracking**.

**Step 3:** Notice the options to track by BL number, booking reference number, and container numbers.

**Step 4:** For this guide, choose **BL number**.

**Step 5:** Enter the BL number.

**Step 6:** Supply the other reference number, shipping line, booking reference and select your port of loading and port of delivery.

**Step 7:** Complete all necessary details and click on **Save**.

## Verification

**Step 1:** Verify the addition by searching for the tracking using the BL number.

**Step 2:** The tracking should appear, indicating successful addition. The timing column and actual ETA column will update automatically. This marks the end of the process of adding a new container or BL tracking in Jules.
