# I can allocate a purchase to a warehouse from the purchase form

Start by navigating to the **Purchases (Trading)** page within the Purchases Module.

**Step 1:** Click on **Add a Purchase**.

**Step 2:** Fill in all the necessary details.

**Step 3:** Click on **Next**.

### Selecting Materials and Quantity

**Step 1:** Choose the material and its quantity.

**Step 2:** In the **Allocate To** field, enter the name of the warehouse.

### Creating Stock in the Warehouse

**Step 1:** Pick the name of the material for which the stock will be created in the warehouse.

**Step 2:** Select the location within the warehouse.

**Step 3:** Click on **Save** to complete the process.

Upon completing these steps, the materials of the purchase order will be linked to the chosen warehouse.
