# I can allocate and re-allocate from the containers tab of Purchase

This tutorial provides a step-by-step guide on how to allocate and re-allocate trucks/containers after purchase.

## Allocating Containers

**Step 1:** Select a purchase for container allocation.

**Step 2:** Navigate to the **Containers** tab and select the containers.

**Step 3:** Click on **Allocation Info**.

**Step 4:** Allocate to an existing sale or to your warehouse.

**Step 5:** Select customer and destination.

**Step 6:** Select the sale from the list.

**Step 7:** Click on **Save** to finalize the allocation of these containers.

The containers are now successfully allocated.

## Modifying or Relocating Containers

**Step 1:** Select the containers.

**Step 2:** Click on **Allocation Info**.

**Step 3:** Fill in all the fields to relocate the containers.

**Step 4:** Click on **Save** to finalize the reallocation.

The containers are now successfully reallocated.
