# I can create a Hedging Contract

**This guide explains how to create a hedging contract in Jules.**

Start by clicking on **Hedging Contracts**.

**Step 1:** Navigate to the **Hedging Contracts** tab.

**Step 2:** Click on **Add a Contract**.

**Step 3:** Select the contract type. For this guide, choose **Sale**. Select **Market**, **Commodity**, **Prompt date** here.

**Step 7:** Define the quantity.

**Step 8:** Choose the weight metric.

**Step 9:** Set the action price.

**Step 10:** Select the weight metric and currency options.

**Step 11:** Assign a commission.

**Step 12:** Select a broker bank.

**Step 13:** After filling all the details, click on **Save**. The hedging contract is now created.

Once the contract is created, there are options to delete, edit, de-hedge, carry, and duplicate the contract.
