# I can create an outbound load without selecting the location within a warehouse

In this article, you'll learn how to create an outbound load without selecting a location within a warehouse.

**Step 1:** Navigate to the **Inventory** module and proceed to the **Outbound Loads** page. Click on **Add an outbound load**.

**Step 2:** Select an **associated warehouse**.

**Step 3:** Choose the **material** in Inventory.

**Step 4:** Without selecting the associated location, choose a **port of loading**.

**Step 5:** Input an **estimated quantity**.

**Step 6:** After filling in all the details, click on **Save**.
