# I can generate a pro forma invoice from a sale

### 1. Go to the 'Sales' page and click on the sale

### 2. Click on the '$' icon on the top right

### 3. Check the settings and click on 'Save'

Here you can select the template, update unit, currency, etc

### 4. Advance payment will be prefilled from the sales form's 'Advance payment' field. You can also specify advance in percentage or in amount

### 5. Set the due date and click on 'Save as draft'

### 6. Alternatively, you can click on the down arrow and preview or download the invoice

### 7. You can view a list of invoices by accessing the 'Invoice' tab on the 'Invoice' page
