# I can mark if hedging is required from the Purchase or Sales form

This tutorial explains the process of marking if hedging is required for an order in Jules

Start with the process of adding a purchase:

**Step 1:** Click **Add a Purchase** on the purchase page.

**Step 2:** Fill in all the details.

**Step 3:** Click **Next**.

Proceed to specify the material and quantity:

**Step 1:** Select a material.

**Step 2:** Enter an estimated quantity and specify the incoterm.

**Step 3:** Click **View Other Fields**.

**Step 4:** Check the box for **Hedging Required** and click **Save**.

After saving, navigate back to the purchase page:

**Step 1:** Return to the purchase page.

To filter purchases by hedging status:

**Step 1:** In the filter sections, click **Other Sections**.

**Step 2:** Navigate to **Hedging Status** and click **Required**. Then click **Apply**.

To view the hedging status in the columns:

**Step 1:** Click **Customize Columns**.

**Step 2:** Search for **Hedging Status**, select it, and click **Save**.

After following these steps, the "Hedging Status Required" column displays the hedging requirement for each purchase. The same process applies to the sales page. This marks and filters hedging for each contract in Jules.
