I Can Merge Containers / Loads
Merging containers in Joules is straightforward and helps you keep your records organized. Follow these steps to efficiently combine containers when needed.
Step 1: Open the Purchase loads tab to view your list of containers.

Step 2: Find the containers that need to be merged. In this example, you'll see containers ending in 716 and 712.

Step 3: Check that neither container has an existing allocation before proceeding with the merge.

Step 4: Select the load, then click allocation info. In the dropdown, pick the relevant supplier.

Step 5: Choose the correct supplier site.

Step 6: Use the dropdown to select the purchase order. If there's only one commodity, Joules auto-selects the associated material.

Step 7: Pick the container to merge with—in this case, the container ending in 712. Next, select the material and click allocate and merge.

Step 8: On the following page, select the container you want to keep. Here, keep 712.

Step 9: Enter a reference number, update the status, then click resolve and merge.

Step 10: Once merged, the redundant container disappears from sales and shows up under purchases.
