# I can record payments against debit and credit notes

### 2. In the "Invoices & Payables" menu click on Payables

  

Alternatively, you can click on "Invoices"

### 3. In the "Debit Notes" tab, select the invoice and click on "Add payment"

  

Alternatively, you can go to the "Credit Notes" tab on the invoices page

### 4. Mention the amount and click on "Save"

### 5. Payment will reflect accordingly on the payables page
