# I can set up default Consignee and Notify

In this article, you'll learn how to set up a default Consignee and notify for a company. This feature simplifies the process of creating new sales or purchases by automatically filling in the Consignee and notify details.

**Step 1:** Navigate to either the **customers and site** or **suppliers and site**.

**Step 2:** Set a default Consignee and Consignee notifier while adding a new company. Alternatively, apply the same process for an existing company.

**Step 3:** Enter the Consignee Notify details and click **save**.

Now, when you're creating a new sale or purchase with the same client, the system will automatically fill in the Consignee and notify details.

If your Masters doesn't have a Consignee notify and you're creating an order with another company, follow the steps below:

**Step 4:** Directly fill in the Consignee and notify details while creating your order, either purchase or sale.

This action will also update your Masters.
