# I can turn an allocation from "In progress" to "Finalized"

**This tutorial provides a step-by-step guide on updating an allocation from 'in progress' to 'finalized' in Jules.**

**Step 1:** Navigate to the allocations page from the logistics module.

**Step 2:** Within the 'Allocations' tab, locate the 'in progress' allocation and select 'Edit'.

**Step 3:** Choose the sale to allocate to this allocation.

**Step 4:** Click on 'Edit Containers'.

**Step 5:** Select all the containers to allocate.

**Step 6:** Save the changes by clicking 'Save'.

Upon completion, the 'in progress' allocation updates to 'finalized'.
