# I can update the document stepper for a shipment

### 2. Click on Shipments

### 3. Access the "Docs" column and click on one of the steps

  

*   If the column is not displayed, you can select it from the column selector
    
*   The "Docs" stepper is different from the "Progress" stepper. The latter is not linked to documents and can be personalized

### 4. You can edit the status of a document

  

It is available only if the document has been generated or uploaded.  
The stepper is updated with a 'completion date' to keep a track.

### 5. The status edition will also reflect in your document list. You can access it in the drawer (by clicking on any shipment) and then clicking on "Documents".

### 6. After having generated or uploaded a document, you will be able to edit the same.
